Chungcheongnam-do is a beautiful region located in the center of the Republic of Korea with mountains, seas, wide plains, and a deep river. The province serves as a major transportation hub and a gateway for three southern provinces that connecting Seoul, Busan and Mok-po within 2hour by KTX the express train. Chungnam Film Commission was founded in 2015 for the purpose of attracting films and TV programs to shoot in Chungcheongnam-do, and has allowed the province to become one of Korea’s film friendly regions.

Location Shooting Support
Eligibility
Domestic / Overseas feature films(including documentaries) and TV dramas planning to shoot film locations throughout in Chungcheongnam-do. Projects must have confirmed plans to be broadcast on television or released in theaters to be eligible.
Support
Cash rebates for up to 30% will be offered for local expenses, providing up to 50 million KRW(approx. 50K USD)
