Japan Film Commission (JFC) is a national film commission covering the entire country of Japan. It is your first contact if you are interested in filming in Japan. With our main office located in Tokyo, JFC is a non-profit organization comprised of over 120 regional film commissions and regional governments, as well as film & video industry guilds and associations, such as the Directors Guild of Japan, Japan Film Makers Association, Motion Picture Producers Association of Japan, Inc., and the National Board of Regional Visual Industry Associations.
JFC will help you find locations for filming, connect you with local film commissions and production service companies, and provide information regarding non-tax incentives and filming support currently available in Japan.
