Since 2008, AFCNet has been hosting Asian Film Policy Forum to contribute to the development of the regional film industry. Asian Film Policy Forum is the only organization of its kind in Asia.
Film policy makers, directors and producers meet to exchange ideas and information about film policies and discuss important issues including improving filming environment, stimulating international coproduction, and dialogue on government policies.
Active discussions have taken place on; shooting permits, custom and immigration clearance, location services, incentives, international coproduction agreement, and regional cooperation to improve shooting conditions in Asian countries to stimulate regional filming.
