About Us

Motion picture infrastructure offers support for filmmakers such as technical support, research, personnel training etc. Using CG technology from research institutes at Daedeok Science Complex such as KAIST and the Electronics and Telecommunications Research Institute (ETRI) etc., Daejeon is a city with 'video post-production and set cluster' R&D capabilities. With this infrastructure for the making of motion pictures, Daejeon Information & Culture Industry Promotion Agency offers filmmakers location support and cooperative services with government agencies. The agency also engages in areas involving the operation of filming, aqua and action studios, post-production technical support, special effects technology research, and related personnel training.
Promoting development of the 'video / movie industry' and 'cultural contents industry' One of the core government projects for new growth and high value-added services, 'Studio CUBE' will support as part of plans to enable filming in various indoor and outdoor sets here in korea. By pushing ahead with the 'support for motion picture making' project (monetary support through cash incentives and exemption benefits for the use of various infrastructure etc.), the Daejeon Film Commission will lead the future development of Daejeon as a new hub for Hallyu motion pictures, and strive to offer the best support for regional economic revitalization through the marketing of filming locations.
